Youthemia is an international coaching practice for people in their mid-to-late teens and early twenties. We offer individual 1:1 coaching sessions and group coaching programmes. Our programmes are designed to help young people enter the next phase of their lives with a greater sense of confidence, self-mastery, and clarity about who they are and what they want to achieve.
At Youthemia, you are met exactly where you are, from a place of compassion and acceptance. Our unique approach combines creativity, philosophy and spirituality to help clients discover their individual gifts and talents, harness their inner resources and set them on a course to grow to their fullest potential.

Regardless of the issues you may currently be facing as a young person, whether it is in your personal, academic, or work life, we believe that everyone has the knowledge and the power within themselves to take responsibility for their own life and determine their own success.
Helping you find out how to do this is our greatest passion.

In your coaching sessions you get to discuss the things that you would like help with in an open, non-judgmental and completely confidential environment.
Over the course of 4-6 weeks we aim to help you find practical and actionable steps that will move you from where you are now to the place you want to be, whether that is an emotional state, a sense of self-mastery, overcoming something that is blocking you, achieving a goal, or moving towards a more focused and harmonious life. Whatever the issue, our aim is to help you find out what works best for you and how to put that into practice.
Meet your coach,
Lisa Strømme
Lisa is a British/Norwegian writer, youth coach, creativity coach and teacher. She is a certified Youth Well Being and Youth Resilience Coach and received her ICF-approved coaching training at the Youth Coaching Institute.
Coaching is a non-directive interaction, meaning it is not 'advice-giving', or having someone tell you what to do. As coaches, our aim is to listen intently to you and then act as a mirror, reflecting back to you your own thoughts in a way that gives you a clear picture of where you are at, where you would like to be and what action you can take to move forward.
All coaching is present and future focused.
Coaching is not psychotherapy or psychiatry.
We do not prescribe medication.
We do not focus on the past.
We do not work with patients who have been diagnosed with serious mental illnesses, addictions, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, severe depression or bipolar disorder. Where necessary, we will always refer such clients to professional clinicians.
